Finally, the weekend arrives. Thought this week would never end. As you probably read it hasn't been a good one, however it's been a good day, with some happy endings. That bad news that I had yesterday turned out ok and other issues panned out fine. End of the day, thats how the cookie crumbles, just have to deal with it.

Went out with a few colleagues tonight, few birthdays to celebrate, had a few conversations and a few drinks, rather drunk now to be honest. Going to take the girls to Dim Sum tomorrow as a treat and spend the day in the garden, just need to forget about work at the weekend and give my kids and my wife my undivided attention, least I can do. I love my job but I love my family more...

Stress

What can I say. Awful day, haven't had a day like this since I worked in retail and that was stressful. What can you do, things still need doing and life goes on. At one point I thought I was going to be physically sick. Managed to catch Taer when I got back home and she was still awake. I realise that over the week, Monday to Friday I see Lola (awake) for less then three hours as shes always asleep when I get home.

Hope tomorrow will be better.

Best Mans Speech

Just finished my first and probably final draft of my best mans speech. Might published some extracts after the wedding, obviously not before! Good day today, got another new member of staff from my team, a Celebrity and TV Editor for MSN Entertainment.

Seeing Paul tomorrow, a few jars of Guinness down the local.

Matt's Leaving Do

Matt's leaving do tonight, and i'm kinda blogging live from the venue and when I got home. Very drunk right now, conversations of the night.. James recon's the bloggings going to die a death in two years time, what questions shall we ask David Hasselhoff on Monday and of course the classic, who are the top five girls in the office! And they are in ascending order...

Matt's going traveling for six month's, I was kinda jealous when he told me his itinerary, he's going to have such a great time, going to miss him though as he was a great leader and colleague. All the best mate!
